Release the kidnapped, captives and missing persons.

Dear Jesus I thank you for today. This is a great day for there are some things that are going to be broken from today. The world must know that Jesus lives. The world must know that God is alive and that he is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Your people are in captivity and they must be set free. People all over the world are celebrating your birth. They say that this is the season of love, peace and goodwill. There are others who are grieving for the disappearance of their loved ones. Mothers, sisters, daughters, brothers, fathers, sons and friends have just vanished into thin air.

Whererver they are being held captive, set them free in the name of Jesus. Lord you opened up the seas for the captives to escaoe the wrath of the people of Egypt. You could do it again Lord and set the captives free. Lord you stirred up the heart of King Ahasuerus in favour of Esther and Modecai to set the captives free. You could do it today Lord and set the captives free.

When they are freed Lord, wsh them clean and let them serve you with their whole heart. Restore them and their families as Nehemiah did many years ago. It can happen today Lord for you are a great and merciful God.

All I am dooing is asking Lord Jesus for when you send this petition to God I know He will answer and release all those persons who have been taken away against their will. That is not all for the wicked must be found and punished.

Wherever they are hiding; on the street corners, behind a mask of friendliness or in our neighbourhoods, let them be caught and punished for their wicked deeds. Identify them Lord bind their hands and confuse their minds. Turn up every stone uner which they seek refuge for your word said that the wicked shall be punished.

We put our trust in you for you are our rock and fortress and the world must know that you, the King is alive., Thank you Lord for hearing and answering me.

Wait on the Lord

"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Psalm 27:14

All the trials that we are going through right now are nothing in the sight of the Lord. The enemy will vanish before our eyes if we will only "wait on the Lord". Here are some things to do as we wait:

• Acknowledge Him as our Lord and Saviour;
• Focus our thoughts on Him, putting Him first before anything else;
• Read, meditate and speak His word for His word is the truth and the truth shall set you free;
• Make a deliberate attempt to renew your mind;
• Live according to His word;
• Praise and worship Him

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

If you feel discouraged this morning, if doubt is entering your mind or your heart is failing, seek the Lord for His word never fails. Be of good courage for this a time to be strong, to rise up and soar like an eagle. The Lord is your strength.
