All the trials that we are going through right now are nothing in the sight of the Lord. The enemy will vanish before our eyes if we will only "wait on the Lord". Here are some things to do as we wait:
- Acknowledge Him as our Lord and Saviour;
- Focus our thoughts on Him, putting Him first before anything else;
- Read, meditate and speak His word for His word is the truth and the truth shall set you free;
- Make a deliberate attempt to renew your mind;
- Live according to His word;
- Praise and worship Him
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
If you feel discouraged this morning, if doubt is entering your mind or your heart is failing, seek the Lord for His word never fails. Be of good courage for this a time to be strong, to rise up and soar like an eagle. The Lord is your strength.
